Argan serum intensive

This firming moisturizer is ideal as a base for subsequent facial care and can be applied in the morning as well as in the evening directly after cleansing. As a highly concentrated serum, it moisturizes, preserves skin elasticity and helps prevent wrinkles. It contains aloe vera extract, argan oil, pomegranate extract and sea buckthorn (all from controlled organic cultivation) as well as low and high molecular hyaluronic acid. This effective combination of active ingredients helps to strengthen the natural skin barrier and improve skin elasticity. This helps prevent moisture loss and supports cell regeneration.
Dry and demanding, mature skin particularly benefits from the rich argan serum, but it is suitable for all skin types. Gently apply one to two pump strokes to the face and neck. After application, the serum leaves the skin feeling pleasantly silky, it absorbs quickly, so that the day or night care can be applied directly.

The Moroccan Berbers have been using argan oil for thousands of years: The oil is an ever-present ingredient in the Berber cuisine and their body care products. In Europe, the valuable and rare oil has long since become an insider tip. For good reasons, because the creamy-nutty oil tastes delicious and contributes to protecting one’s health. The oil consists of over 80% unsaturated fatty acids, has a very high vitamin E content, and protects the human cell organism with its antioxidants. When applied to the skin, argan oil is quickly absorbed and leaves no greasy or shiny film. It moisturizes and has a positive effect on the skin’s tension. Even sensitive skin types or types or skin prone to irritation tolerate the oil very well. 

The precious liquid is extracted from the fruits of the argan trees (Argania Spinosa). The trees – threatened with extinction nowadays – grow only in an area in the southwest of Morocco, between the Atlantic Ocean, the High Atlas and the Anti-Atlas: the Arganeraie. UNESCO declared the Arganeraie a Biosphere Reserve in 1998 to protect the trees and listed the traditional production of argan oil that uses stone mills and hand pressing as Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) in urgent need of preservation. Argand’Or uses hand-pressed argan oil from the UCFA (Union des Coopératives des Femmes de l’Arganeraie), an association of over 20 women’s cooperatives. These co-ops secure the incomes of Berber families while preserving the social structures and the unique cultural landscape together with the argan trees.
