A Scrubber. For coarse matter too.
This scrubber is made in the Swiss Canton of St. Gallen. Its untreated beechwood body is not equipped with bristles over the entire surface, but in two circular rows with the so-called union mix. Union is a mixture of natural fibers – very elastic agave fibers that withstand acid, alkali and heat – and bassine, the strong leave fibers of the saw palm. Both are very unbreakable and resistant to water, which makes this scrubber useful for cleaning rough surfaces in cellars and outside. A threaded aluminum sleeve is incorporated in the body to attach the corresponding broomstick.
