Belle Aphrodite Eau de Parfum

This eau de parfum is part of a small fragrance series for which Aimée de Mars has drawn inspiration from the goddesses of Greek, Roman and Egyptian mythology. Valérie Demars, perfumer and founder of Aimée de Mars, has translated the attributes attributed to them into fragrance compositions with which you can emphasize your own personality.

The Greek goddess Aphrodite is very present to us as Venus by Sandro Botticelli. Initially revered as the goddess of fertility and associated with her marriage, procreation and birth, she evolved over time into the goddess of beauty, love and sensual pleasure. Chosen by Paris as the fairest of the fair (remember the golden apple?), the "foam-born" was the epitome of grace and seduction in Roman antiquity. Always surrounded by an entourage of animals, in addition to apple and pomegranate, anemone, rose, lime, myrtle and cypress are attributed to her. Thus, in this eau de parfum, rose also leads the way. Fragrant rose petals and fresh marine notes start in the top note, which is followed by a floral heart note with centifolia rose and fruity aromas of frozen raspberry and tangerine. The base is carried by sweet vanilla, spicy amber wood and earthy warm nard (jatamansi).

Aromatherapy attributes a calming and relaxing effect to Centifolia Rose, Tangerine and Nard, so their scent is particularly pleasant in times of stress. Apply the perfume on the neck and on the center of the chest, the heart chakra. Here it helps to balance yin and yang.

The Parisian perfume house Aimée de Mars has dedicated itself to natural fragrances resulting in the commitment that the fragrances’ ingredients are of natural origin. The perfumes consist of 95% natural ingredients and thus meet the requirements of natural cosmetics, although Aimée de Mars has deliberately refrained from certification. When composing her fragrances, Valérie Demars draws on inspiration from nature and findings of aromatherapy. Twenty-one precious essential oils build the heart of each fragrance – in different combinations. Each perfume provides a multi-layered scent and has a harmonising and balancing effect based on the admixed essential oils. The perfumes are manufactured in France.
