With the companys own wool yarn spinning mill, dyeworks, weaving mill and finishing, Steinbeck, based in Memmingen (Swabia), is one of the few German fully integrated textile manufacturers. The company pays special attention to the selection of the raw material. Primarily their wool comes from small German sheep farms. The wool of these blankets woven in herringbone design comes from the very first shearing and, with its fiber size of 21 micron, it is especially soft and delicate.
