The Arabica beans for the "Dark Roast" come from Mexico, Peru and Honduras. Although more strongly roasted and correspondingly intense in taste, the coffee made from them has a mild acidity profile. It has notes of cocoa, nutmeg and dates and tastes like an espresso, but without a bitter aftertaste. The Dark Roast, which is also certified organic, is the ideal coffee for anyone who likes to drink dark, strong coffee, whether with milk or black.

Barista-quality instant coffee—that’s the standard set by Blæk from Hamburg. Founded in 2019 as a startup by Edgar Kirst and Luis Herget, the company has made it its mission to polish up the poor image of this hot beverage. What makes Blæk’s instant coffee so special are the beans: they are exclusively specialty-grade Arabica beans—a quality not typically found in instant coffee. In addition to its compelling flavor, it offers the familiar advantages: instant coffee requires no machine, grinder, or scale—just hot water. Whether at home, while camping, hiking, or sailing—Blæk Specialty Instant Coffee is ready in an instant, anywhere. And since Blæk always ensures careful extraction, you can enjoy it without any of the bitterness typically associated with instant coffee.
