Beyer & Söhne has designed the body lotion like a facial care product and is correspondingly rich in anti-ageing ingredients. This makes it ideal for sensitive and irritated skin. With a light texture, the Bodylotion+ is absorbed quickly and leaves the skin soft and velvety. It is enriched with low-molecular hyaluronic acid and vitamin C, which ensure a clear complexion and provide the skin with long-lasting moisture. The body lotion+ also contains a wealth of proven active ingredients such as panthenol, urea, coenzyme Q10 and five ceramides. They also ensure a good supply of moisture. Resveratrol is an antioxidant and helps the skin to stimulate collagen synthesis and protect itself from the damage caused by UV radiation. Phospholipids (especially phosphatidylcholine) form the basis of the cream as skin-identical active ingredients. They support the skin barrier and enhance the effect of the ingredients.

As a pharmacist, Hartmut Beyer is very familiar with ingredients and active substances. But for the realization that neither aging can be stopped, nor that there is a miracle active ingredient against it, it did not need a pharmacy degree. However, his many years of professional experience confirmed his conviction that our skin has enormous potential to heal and repair itself. The healthier the skin, the greater this ability. Which led Beyer to the simple realization, "Healthy skin ages slower and looks more beautiful." So the secret of effective skin and anti-aging care is to support the skin in its complex regeneration process.
An important role in this is played by an adequate supply of moisture and antioxidants, so-called radical scavengers. The latter can neutralize free radicals and thus protect the skin from oxidative stress. This occurs when free radicals are increasingly formed, for example through air pollution or UV-A radiation. If these highly reactive substances are present in excessive quantities, they can attack and damage the body's own cells. Aging is thought to be the result of this damage. Antioxidants bind the free radicals and can thus reduce the formation of wrinkles.
Another factor in the aging process is the decreasing synthesis of collagen; after the age of 30, it decreases by about 1% per year. Collagen is a protein that gives our skin its structure. If the collagen structure becomes brittle, wrinkles appear. Vitamin C and A help here: they stimulate collagen production and ensure that a healthy collagen framework.

Our body can best process endogenous or skin-identical substances, it recognizes them as "its own kind", therefore does not attack them and rarely develops allergies to them. What could be more natural than to supply the skin first of all with its own basic building blocks and to combine these in a second step with selected active ingredients? Beyer therefore uses not only natural but also skin-identical active ingredients. In their composition and structure, they correspond to the skin's own basic building blocks, so that the skin cannot distinguish them from its own. Skin-identical active ingredients are therefore not only more effective, but also better tolerated. That is why Beyer has developed as a basis a cream of pure phosphatidylcholine, a natural main component of the body's cells, which can transport the active ingredients deep into the skin.

For the formulas are selected vitamins and highly dosed, pure active ingredients, which in combination with the basic building blocks each result in an easy-to-use, dermatologically useful product. The formulations contain the well-known antioxidants (so-called radical scavengers) vitamins A, C and E. Vitamin C also stimulates the formation of collagen and vitamin A stimulates skin renewal. Panthenol (provitamin B5), coenzyme Q10, folic acid, biotin, zinc, ceramides, hyaluronic acid and phospholipids are included. Furthermore, resveratrol (a molecule of grape seed oil), green tea, astaxanthin (an active ingredient from red algae) and tocotrienols (a form of vitamin E) as particularly effective antioxidants.
All products are free of colorants and fragrances, hormonally active substances as well as silicones and mineral oils. Production takes place at the headquarters of the family business, in which Hartmut Beyer's two sons also joined a few years ago.
