Breton Almond Shortcake
Light, juicy, not too sweet
The Breton almond pastry is baked with 12% almond powder. It is light and juicy - and not at all too sweet. Suitable for any occasion.
The Forêt de Brocéliande, Breton for Brekilien, is the place where the legend of King Arthur and his Round Table is set, and where you can still visit the mysterious tomb of his teacher, the wizard Merlin. Finally, there is also the Trappist convent of Campénéac - Kempeniec in Breton - and myths are also cultivated there, namely those of Breton pastries and sweet treats. Concentrated nuns in prosaic everyday clothes and the unromantic atmosphere of a sober, modern workroom, however, can be found in the bakery. A modern workplace in compliance with the regulations, the use of manual labor and technology where appropriate.
