The introduction of the first mechanical refill holder in 1929 established the fame of Caran d'Ache, founded in 1924 as Fabrique Suisse de Crayons Caran d'Ache and now Switzerland's last remaining writing instrument manufacturer. To this day, without exception, all products are manufactured in Thônex near Geneva, this with the utmost precision.

From Caran d’Ache, the last surviving writing materials manufacturer in Switzerland, we’re proud to have sourced this ‘simple’ version, as it’s called, which comes in four different colours for writing, correcting, and making notes, in the trademark six-sided shape. Case of coated aluminium, chrome steel clip. Each pen comes equipped with the colour-matched ‘Goliath’ cartridge (thickness M). Length 13 cm. Weight 15 g.
