Our cardamom consists of hand-picked whole pods of the highest quality, which are harvested before they are fully ripe and dried so that they retain their green color. The best quality comes from Guatemala - and that's where we get it from. You can use the pods whole, for example as a coffee spice in the Arab tradition. To grind them, you should first break the pods open in a mortar and remove the husks.
