Sharp and cutting by tradition. Mora carving knives.
The town of Mora in the central Swedish landscape of Dalarna looks back on a total of about 400 years of knife manufacturing history. That of Mora knives began around 1891, when the present Morakniv company was founded as a wooden sled factory. Soon, the company began to manufacture its own blades for the production of the sleds, more out of necessity than anything else. These quickly achieved fame and glory within Sweden and even beyond the country's borders, so that the factory soon focused on the production of high-quality carving knives and later on outdoor, fishing and cooking knives. With its sharp and cutting knives, the company Morakniv has now made a name for itself worldwide.
