Children's breakfast board Calculate
Playfully becoming an arithmetic ace
"Two times three makes four widdewiddewitt and three makes nine" - what's wrong with that? For Pippi Longstocking, the "plutimication" is undoubtedly correct, but Pippi also makes the "world, widdewidde as she likes it." However, this wonderfully unconventional girl, who was conceived by Astrid Lindgren and was bursting with strength and life, did not have a breakfast board to show her the results of multiplication and addition in a memorable way - perhaps not so fantastically fibbed, but according to all the rules of mathematics.
In a workshop for people with disabilities, these boards are made by hand from solid local beech wood, all edges neatly rounded and sanded smooth. Engraved by laser, the matrix and ruler are extremely precise and permanently legible even with extensive use. The use of the number tables is child's play - and perfect for math beginners to playfully internalize the multiplication tables. The correct result is found at the intersection of the row and column of the numbers 1 to 10, which are to be multiplied or added. And of course, dividing and subtracting can also be practiced. In addition, your offspring can use the ruler engraved on the side to measure who takes the biggest bite of bread, whether the spoon grew overnight or the banana is really longer than the lettuce leaf. Nourished mind, nourished body: Last but not least, there is a neatly milled hole in the upper right corner of the sturdy little board in which the breakfast egg can be fixed.
