Copper Stewing Pan
The ergonomically shaped, cast-iron handles are riveted on all of our copper pots; the stainless steel rivets are still annealed before pressing in order to obtain a perfectly tight riveted joint. Spout rims facilitate handling of the heavy copperware.
Modernization of tradition. Copper pots, deep drawn
You will encounter classic copper cookware here; cookware which, however, is not simply made of stainless steel or aluminum coated with copper, as is often the case today. Quite the opposite is the case, because only the lining is wafer-thin here, a 0.2 mm "thick" stainless steel foil applied to 2.3 mm copper. Forging has been replaced by a new, patented manufacturing process, in the new development of which our supplier, the Falk family business based in Flanders, played a leading role. The metal layers are inseparably bonded together by rolling; this is referred to as bi-metal. "Stainless steel clad" copper sheets are produced, which are deep drawn into various shapes. In the catering industry, cookware from Falk is valued not only for the superior thermal conductivity of the copper - with the physiologically safe stainless steel lining on the inside and the matt brushed surfaces on the outside, it is also easy to clean and requires little maintenance.
Our copper cookware is suitable for all types of stoves, except induction stoves.
