With this cutlery tray, the usual storage compartments are supplemented by one that runs the entire length of the box. With the fitted knife rack, it offers the possibility of storing cooking and kitchen knives with sensitive sharp blades in a way that protects them from injury - and is gentle on the material.
Space-saving for the drawer
The following cutlery inserts are manufactured by a woodworking company in southwestern Slovenia. They use only quality-tested wood from European forests. In this case it is beech wood, which is professionally dried in the company's own workshop and only then processed further.
Handcrafted
A glance at the corner joints reveals the high-quality workmanship. The cutlery inserts are glued and additionally secured across the corner by finger joints - the most elaborate and at the same time safest of the traditional carpenter's wood joints. Outside of furniture making, they are not often encountered today.

Please note: The knife insert of this cutlery tray is not appropriate for knives with a high blade, as is the case with many Japanese cook's knives.
In addition to the normal compartments, this drawer insert has one compartment that extends over the entire length of the tray. The perfectly fitted knife insert offers the possibility to store sharp-bladed cook's knives and kitchen knives in a material friendly way and without risk of injuries. The cutlery tray is made of high-quality beechwood from European forests by a wood processing plant in the southwest of Slovenia.
