Cutlery Tray Made of Beechwood
Space-Saving Cutlery Inserts.
A wood-processing company in southwestern Slovenia manufactures the following cutlery inserts. They use only quality-tested wood from European forests for their products. In this case, they choose beech wood and have it dried professionally in their workshop for further processing.
A glance at the corner joints reveals the high-quality artistry behind these trays. The cutlery inserts are bonded and additionally secured at the corners by finger joints – the most elaborate and by far safest of the traditional wood joints. Outside of furniture-making, these examples of a carpenter’s artisan skills are rare today.
