Dahlia 'Bishop of Dover'
Peony-flowered dahlia with beautiful single, 5 to 10 cm flowers in ivory white with golden yellow center. At times the petals are streaked with pale purple. The dark, braunpurple foliage is a nice contrast. Grows to 1.2 m tall.

Dahlia 'Bishop of York'
Also counted among the peony-flowered dahlias. Its golden yellow to light orange, partially semi-double flowers contrast exquisitely with the very dark, almost black foliage of this variety, which grows to a height of about 100 cm.

Dahlia 'Waltzing Mathilda'
This fairly new Dutch breeding from the class of peony dahlias has a very unusual color scheme and was therefore rightly awarded the RHS "Award of Garden Merit". The yellow-salmon flower coloration becomes stronger with time, until the flowers shine in an intense salmon orange - a formidable contrast to the braunred foliage. Height approx. 80 cm.

Peony-flowered dahlia. This 1928 cultivar is one of the most beautiful dahlias around, with its almost black foliage and red, unfilled, 5-10 cm flowers. It grows to about 1 m in height.
