Inspired by the colorful pit towels, the Lower Austrian weaving mill Herka designed this colorful colleague - it has been part of the family company's range since the 1950s. Colorful stripes run across a black base fabric in which stains disappear almost without a trace - making the robust terry towels ideal for use in the workshop, kitchen and garden. The colors can vary in combination and intensity, as they are woven from remnants (just like our checkered pit towels).

The cloth is woven as real terry cloth: a loop weave with three thread systems, which is much bulkier and more absorbent than the two-thread (warp and weft only) terry cloth due to its third (loop) thread. The yarn count is Nm 24/2 in the base warp, Nm 16 in the weft and Nm 20/2 in the loop warp. It has an average basis weight of 300 g/sqm.
