... the weather changes or it stays as it is, so claims a farmer's rule that is not to be taken entirely seriously. The weather may be changeable, but one thing does not change: a farm is one of the classics in the children's room. All the animals that the child can look after in its environment, the use of tractors, plows and other implements stimulate the child's imagination in a special, nature-oriented way. The central element of every farm game is the farmhouse. Our example is ideally suited to the challenges of daily work around the house and farm: it is made entirely of stained and oiled birch plywood and is therefore as robust and inherently stable as we expect from a durable wooden toy.
A particularly nice detail is the folding roof, constructed in several parts. The individual roof panels are attached to their ridge with solid loops and can be folded wide open. The roof or hayloft (we are happy to leave the individual configuration to your child) can thus be played on from above without hindrance. The cord attached to the ridge top serves as a functional freight elevator. And if the farming family would like to take a well-deserved break in the evening sun after their day's work, they can set up the flat roof area as a green roof terrace.
The two-story farmhouse is designed in a restrained manner, so your child can give free rein to his or her imagination. Dwelling house or stable, barn or workshop - childlike creativity decides how the building is best used for its farming (of course, according to the Spielidee building regulations, a change of use is possible at any time). Fine details complete the well thought-out design: the back door is worked as a swinging door, the two stairs that can be placed freely allow the house inhabitants to climb up and down as in real life. And last but not least, access from the front is possible unhindered even with full hands - wheat up, hay down - thanks to the generously designed accesses.
