Lapuan Kankurit, a family-run linen and jacquard weaving mill based in the small town of Lapua in western Finland, produces these table runners from pure, non-slip linen. By using natural-colored yarn in the warp and dyed yarn in the weft, the wide herringbone pattern with the typical linen sheen is shown to its best advantage. The weaving mill uses only the best linen yarns from long-fiber flax of European provenance - also for these placemats.
