Fitted sheet percale
Perkal: "200 threads, 3 row cord".
Percale (from Persian "pergalah") refers to a particularly fine-threaded, dense cotton fabric in plain weave. Only from a thread density of over 180 threads per inch (2.54 cm) may the fabric be called percale. Our percale has a thread density of 200 threads per inch and is thus extraordinarily fine, it has a cool and firm, yet soft feel and is still extremely durable.
100% cotton, long staple. Fabric weight 132 g/sqm. Yarn count in warp and weft Nm 68.
Peter Reed. By appointment...

Bed linen and sheets made of percale should be washed before first use because they will only then assume their prescribed size. They may shrink by 5–8% and are cut correspondingly larger. Machine washable at 60 °C. May be machine dried.
