Passing mill. Made of stainless steel
As "moulin-légumes", the straining mill came onto the market in France in the 1930s. In our country, this practical device is best known as the "Flotte Lotte". We offer it here in a stainless steel version, in which it is thoroughly equipped for professional use.
For fruits and vegetables
Two interchangeable perforated discs are included in every delivery; one of them has 2-mm perforation and a roughened surface, which is also suitable as a grating disc for fibrous vegetables such as asparagus or leeks. The other, smooth disc has a 3-mm perforation and is intended for straining fruits (for jelly, jam, puree) or for vegetables and potatoes (for soups, sauces and purees). Two sturdy pot supports provide the straining mill with support on bowls and pots. The straining wing covers three quarters of the sieving surface, a metal bow scrapes off the strained material without residue.
