The light source is covered by a diffuser panel and provides glare-free light for reading areas or general room lighting. There is a single control button on the head of the stand, which can be used to adjust the light intensity and switch the luminaire on and off. The delicate lampshade can be rotated along its longitudinal axis, allowing the light to be directed. PASTILLE is made from an interesting material: the manufacturer refers to it as "bio-polyamide", over 60% of which is organically grown and made from recyclable material from a castor oil factory.
