Don’t be fooled: Behind the cozy, homey look of this flower staircase lies a piece of furniture that’s made entirely for outdoor use. The sturdy frame is thoroughly and neatly powder-coated to protect it from the elements. Although foldable, it stands firmly on the floor of patios and balconies, as the thick oak supports provide it with additional stability. The tannin-rich wood with its warm hue (it may leave stains on delicate surfaces) remains weather-resistant for many years even without further surface treatment. You can counteract the natural graying of the wood surfaces by occasionally applying a wood care product. Either way—with its three tiers, our three-tiered flower staircase with oak steps offers an unexpectedly generous amount of space for arranging blooming flowers, herbs, and vegetables in both small and large pots. And when it’s not in use, it folds up easily and can be stored to save space—the oak wood steps click into the frame just as easily as they can be removed.

Please note that our products are designed for outdoor use and offer a certain degree of weather resistance. Nevertheless, superficial rust may occur over time, especially if the protective coating is damaged or the product is exposed to moisture over a long period of time. However, this type of rust does not affect the stability of the material. To preserve the life and appearance of your furniture, we recommend applying a rust-inhibiting clear coat or touch-up paint where necessary, especially at joints or scratches.

Due to the high tannic acid content of oak wood, blue-black discoloration can occur on the wood surface in combination with moisture and in contact with ferrous metals. In addition, the so-called tannins can be washed out by rainwater and stain surfaces and adjacent materials.
