This is due in no small part to the material the cake pan is made of. After all, rapid heat conduction is just as essential for successful baking as it is on the stovetop, which is why this cake pan features a multi-layered metal construction: the carbon steel core is encased in aluminum. The secret to its success lies in the mineral-based powder coating made of quartz ceramic (Duraquarz®), which is applied all around the pan (solvent-free). The nonstick effect is impressive—so much so that you can do without parchment paper entirely. A light greasing is all it takes, and your cake will still come out of the pan perfectly (which you can even wash in the dishwasher if you’d like).
