This frying pan combines several advantages in one. The pan body itself is made of stainless steel with an aluminum core, so food prepared in it benefits from the increased thermal conductivity of the inner light metal. The black coating is applied all around using a solvent-free process and consists of quartz ceramic and the high-performance plastic PEK (polyether ketone). This means: no traces of PTFE. 

Take a moment to notice the honeycomb-shaped ridges that are evenly spaced across the entire cooking surface. They ensure that quick-seared dishes, in particular, turn out perfectly in this pan. Even browning guaranteed: When cooked slightly above the pan’s surface, a good steak quickly develops the desired crust, rich in roasted flavors. We recommend preheating the steak pan and first searing the meat on both sides over high heat. Then reduce the heat, baste the meat with the juices as you turn it several times, and remove it from the pan in time to let it rest for a few more minutes so it can finish cooking. Of course, you can use the same method with vegetables, such as green asparagus, mixed mushrooms, or—the perfect side dish for meat—onions.
