The cable knitting and the other braided-type patterns of these virgin wool socks originate from jacquard knitting looms especially created for this purpose. They tightly knit three threads of wool yarn with a fineness of Nm 28/2. The sole is carried out in brioche stitch: the best for a perfect fit. By no means only suitable for comfortable slippers.

These socks are manufactured in the Münsterland region. As is often the case in textile production, a collection of old machines contributes to their quality. Here, they are 1950s Bentley-Komet circular knitting machines. They are capable of processing materials such as linen and distributing yarns in a differentiated manner throughout the sock’s structure: reinforced in areas subject to the greatest stress, or using two different yarns for the inner and outer sides. The result is socks with a great fit that are hard-wearing and durable.
