This soft knitted hood is ideal for anyone who doesn't want to freeze outdoors in winter but prefers less thick clothing indoors. It also impresses with its melange look. Thanks to its sophisticated design, the hood fits snugly and reliably keeps out the cold - it's practically a hat and scarf in one. The face opening is surrounded by a fine rib-knitted cuff, through which a drawstring with a tie from the outer material runs to adjust the width. The material is made accordingly: a good half is warming virgin wool from controlled organic animal husbandry, the rest is skin-friendly cotton from controlled organic cultivation.

The work of fashion label Lanius is influenced by three factors: first, a style characterised by sophisticated designs and forms, secondly the use of certified raw materials and thirdly the guarantee that all garments have been produced under fair working conditions. Depending on the garment, one factor may get centre stage, but the other factors don’t move out of the focus – however, importance is always attached to outstanding quality both in terms of materials and finish. The label was founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius, who works on all her ideas and designs in her Cologne studio; she has them developed by her team and then assembled by producers in several countries.
