With its check pattern full of character, this straight-cut short jacket ensures a stylish appearance. Lanius uses pure natural materials here: the outer fabric is made from warming, temperature-regulating virgin wool from certified organic animal husbandry and skin-friendly, certified organic cotton. The breathable viscose lining is pleasantly smooth against the skin, making it more comfortable to wear and easier to put on and take off. The hip-length jacket is equipped with two side pockets. It can be fastened up to the stand-up collar with a metal zipper. A wind-repellent panel with concealed buttons lies over the collar. A great basic piece for chilly days that can be combined with both elegant and casual outfits.

The work of fashion label Lanius is influenced by three factors: first, a style characterised by sophisticated designs and forms, secondly the use of certified raw materials and thirdly the guarantee that all garments have been produced under fair working conditions. Depending on the garment, one factor may get centre stage, but the other factors don’t move out of the focus – however, importance is always attached to outstanding quality both in terms of materials and finish. The label was founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius, who works on all her ideas and designs in her Cologne studio; she has them developed by her team and then assembled by producers in several countries.
