Ladies coat padded

Thoughtful, detailed and thus versatile is this padded coat. It starts with the material. The waterproof and breathable outer fabric is made of recycled polyester. Underneath lies a warming filling made from a vegan down alternative in the form of puffy fibers made from recycled polyester obtained from PET bottles. Elasticated cuffs keep the wind out. The smooth lining, also made from recycled polyester, ensures comfortable on and off and an all-time good fit. In addition, there are functional details. For example, two shoulder straps are sewn inside, with which the coat can be worn like a backpack. Those on the bike will appreciate that not only is there a two-way zipper under the buttonable panel at the front, but additional zippers at the sides increase legroom when needed. Two side pockets and an inner pocket accommodate small items of daily use.

The work of fashion label Lanius is influenced by three factors: first, a style characterised by sophisticated designs and forms, secondly the use of certified raw materials and thirdly the guarantee that all garments have been produced under fair working conditions. Depending on the garment, one factor may get centre stage, but the other factors don’t move out of the focus – however, importance is always attached to outstanding quality both in terms of materials and finish. The label was founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius, who works on all her ideas and designs in her Cologne studio; she has them developed by her team and then assembled by producers in several countries.
