Ladies dress linen batik

Ladies dress linen batik
- Pure linen: light, skin-friendly and breathable
- Figure-flattering cut: kaftan style
- Dyed by hand: using the dip-dye technique
General Information
Airy linen dress with a unique look
The striking beauty of this maxi dress is not only the wide, figure-flattering cut in a kaftan style, but also the striking color gradient. This is because the dress is dyed by hand using an elaborate dip-dye technique. Slight color variations are characteristic and make each piece unique. The flowing fabric is made from pure linen - ideal for the warmer months. This is because the skin-friendly natural fiber can absorb a lot of moisture and quickly release it back into the environment, which has a pleasantly cooling effect on the skin. The dress features a deep V-neckline, short sleeves with fixed cuffs and long side slits. A longitudinal dividing seam at the front visually slims the silhouette. Two pockets set into the side seam can hold small items for everyday use.
Forward-thinking. Slow fashion from Elemente Clemente
The Munich-based fashion label Elemente Clemente, founded in 2002 by Clemens Dörr, focuses on minimalist and urban fashion characterized by high-quality materials and superior craftsmanship. The collections are manufactured—from the fiber to the finished garment—at partner companies in Poland and Tunisia. The label’s primary goal is the thoughtful use of resources. Every single garment is crafted with great attention to detail—using natural fibers such as linen, hemp, virgin wool from certified organic livestock farming, and cotton from certified organic cultivation. Innovative fibers such as Lyocell (TENCEL™) and recycled materials are also used. Elemente Clemente stands for timeless, forward-thinking fashion—far removed from fleeting trends—that can be worn with a clear conscience.
European linen. Harvested using the field-drying method
The linen fibers used by Elemente Clemente come exclusively from Europe and are harvested there using the traditional field retting process. In this process, the cut and scutched stems of the flax plant are laid out in a field. During the retting process, which lasts several weeks, the pectins in the plant stems dissolve naturally with the help of microorganisms, and the solid woody components separate from the fibers. The separated components serve as natural fertilizer for the soil. The long fibers are then extracted through mechanical breaking, beating, and scutching. Field retting is a resource-efficient process that alternatives such as water retting or chemical retting cannot match. This is because these methods require large amounts of water and energy and place an additional burden on the environment with chemicals.
Note:
Dip-dye coloring: Slight color variations are characteristic. The colors may fade in strong sunlight.
