The clearly visible, irregular twill ridge gives this slightly oversized short jacket a lively look full of character. Lanius uses pure natural materials here: organically grown cotton, virgin wool and alpaca hair. They give the jacket skin-friendly, soft and warming properties. The smooth and breathable viscose lining makes it more comfortable to wear and easier to put on and take off. The jacket is equipped with two side pockets. It can be fastened up to the stand-up collar with a metal zipper. A wind-repellent placket with concealed buttons lies above the zipper. The jacket goes well with classic, elegant outfits, but can also be combined with sporty clothing.

The work of fashion label Lanius is influenced by three factors: first, a style characterised by sophisticated designs and forms, secondly the use of certified raw materials and thirdly the guarantee that all garments have been produced under fair working conditions. Depending on the garment, one factor may get centre stage, but the other factors don’t move out of the focus – however, importance is always attached to outstanding quality both in terms of materials and finish. The label was founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius, who works on all her ideas and designs in her Cologne studio; she has them developed by her team and then assembled by producers in several countries.
