Slim fit with regular waist and straight leg, close on a button made of recycled metals. Woven from organic cotton, the solid denim has a dense surface; elastane ensures excellent fit and elasticity. Goodsociety create the soft feel of the fabric by washing it once with GOTS-certified softeners while preserving the rich black colour.

The jeans of the Hamburg brand Goodsociety are produced in Italy. The cotton needed can only come from overseas - but the raw material is spun, woven and made up in specialized textile factories in the Italian neighbourhood of Goodsociety’s workshop, right through to finishing the denim fabrics. From one production point to the next, there are hardly any long ways to go. The jeans are washed without chlorine and other polluting substances. Energy and water consumption is kept as low as possible throughout the whole process. The factories use state-of-the-art water treatment systems, where most of the service water is collected, cleaned and reused. The buttons and labels are mostly made of recycled material or vegan fabrics. The cotton-growing partner companies in India, Pakistan and Turkey follow the strict rules of the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). The standard applies to the entire supply chain and includes regular working hours and fair wages for employed farmers and farm workers.

The garment may rub off onto light-coloured materials such as other garments, furniture and upholstery fabrics.
