This knit dress is an elegant and comfortable companion for chilly days. Lanius makes it from virgin wool and a ten percent cashmere content, which gives it wonderfully soft and warming properties. On the front and sides, the dress is worked in rib knitting technique. Sleeves and back are smooth knitted except for the cuffs. Knit-in decreases in the shoulder area ensure a good fit and an interesting pattern gradient. Ribbed knit cuffs finish off the neck and long sleeves, and side slits offer more freedom of movement.

The work of fashion label Lanius is influenced by three factors: first, a style characterised by sophisticated designs and forms, secondly the use of certified raw materials and thirdly the guarantee that all garments have been produced under fair working conditions. Depending on the garment, one factor may get centre stage, but the other factors don’t move out of the focus – however, importance is always attached to outstanding quality both in terms of materials and finish. The label was founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius, who works on all her ideas and designs in her Cologne studio; she has them developed by her team and then assembled by producers in several countries.
