Ladies Knit Sweater

This colorful knit sweater, which Lanius makes in large part from fine alpaca hair, is incredibly supple, warming and temperature-regulating. Added to this is a small amount of polyamide for durability and shape retention. The knit is airy and slightly transparent, especially at the stripes. The sleeve openings are worked in a light pump look with an elastic waistband. The torso closes with a ribbed knit cuff.

The work of fashion label Lanius is influenced by three factors: first, a style characterised by sophisticated designs and forms, secondly the use of certified raw materials and thirdly the guarantee that all garments have been produced under fair working conditions. Depending on the garment, one factor may get centre stage, but the other factors don’t move out of the focus – however, importance is always attached to outstanding quality both in terms of materials and finish. The label was founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius, who works on all her ideas and designs in her Cologne studio; she has them developed by her team and then assembled by producers in several countries.
