Dressy and functional at the same time, this lace-up boot is formally inspired by classic hiking boots. And as befits such a shoe, the focus is on wearing comfort. The shaft edge and dust flap are padded, the lacing with five pairs of ring loops and a pair of double rivet hooks allows a good fit to the shape of the foot, and the crepe sole made of natural rubber offers good foot cushioning. A side-entry zipper allows for quick and comfortable on and off. And the exterior is also impressive: the matte, grease-grip upper leather should and will quickly show minor signs of wear, giving the shoe a distinctive look that is further enhanced by the leather laces.

Montegranaro in the Marche region, an important location for Italian shoe manufacturing, is home to the relatively young Punto Pigro label.
