Ladies loafers with straps

This loafer sandal is the perfect combination of low shoe and sandal. On the one hand, it is quite airy thanks to its shape, while on the other it protects the foot, especially in the toe area, and provides good support. Thanks to the adjustable strap with metal buckle that runs over the instep, it can be easily adapted to the individual shape of the foot. The padded leather insole allows you to walk and stand comfortably for many hours, but can also be replaced with your own insoles as it is removable. The outsole is made from hard-wearing buffalo leather, which gives the loafer sandal a slightly more elegant appearance. A rubber patch on the heel increases comfort. The moccasin seam on the front vamp is a striking visual detail. The upper material is suede, the lining is smooth cowhide. Both are vegetable-tanned and soft.

The beginnings of Astorflex date back to the 19th century. After the First World War, the descendants of the shoemaking family founded the company "Fratelli Travenzoli" in Castel d'Ario, a small shoemaking town in the province of Mantua (Lombardy). From then on, they specialized in the production of shoes using the "ideal method", in which a visible seam joins the upper to the insole, making the shoes particularly flexible, durable and long-lasting. Today, the fortunes of Astorflex are in the hands of Fabio Travenzoli, who has consistently focused the entire production on sustainability. This is evidenced not least by the use of ecological materials. First-class Italian leather is used for the upper shoe, especially from master tanneries in Tuscany. The lining and insoles are made of soft calf leather, vegetable-tanned in a decoction of oak bark and mimosa. The outsoles are made primarily of natural rubber, and only water-based adhesives are used. At Astorflex, one has just completely dedicated to the "good shoe", as already promised by the addition "La scarpa buona" in the logo of the shoe manufactory.

The outsole may leave colored marks on the shoe or floor due to abrasion.
