This elegant, flowing midi skirt can be worn for festive occasions, but also cuts a really good figure in the office. Lanius makes it from lyocell (TENCEL™), a biodegradable regenerated fiber made from wood that comes from certified and controlled sources. There is also a small amount of elastane, which makes the fabric more elastic and retains its shape. The fabric has a silky sheen and is light and pleasantly smooth against the skin. The skirt is finished with side pockets, a concealed zipper and a long slit at the back, which gives it even more freedom of movement.

The work of fashion label Lanius is influenced by three factors: first, a style characterised by sophisticated designs and forms, secondly the use of certified raw materials and thirdly the guarantee that all garments have been produced under fair working conditions. Depending on the garment, one factor may get centre stage, but the other factors don’t move out of the focus – however, importance is always attached to outstanding quality both in terms of materials and finish. The label was founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius, who works on all her ideas and designs in her Cologne studio; she has them developed by her team and then assembled by producers in several countries.
