Ladies parka EtaProof®

The outer material of this parka is EtaProof® from certified organic cotton. Underneath lies a warming padding made of virgin wool in the torso area and lyocell on the sleeves and hood. The smooth viscose lining makes it comfortable to wear and easy to put on and take off. Knitted cuffs on the sleeves keep the wind out. In the front, the parka is closed by two-way metal zipper and buttonable trim with metal snaps - up to the chin. The hood is equipped with a drawstring cord, with metal cord stoppersno for width adjustment. Two zippered chest pockets, two flap pockets with snap buttons and an inside pocket with vertical zipper accommodate small items of daily use.

EtaProof® is the much-praised cotton cloth from Switzerland, developed by the Zurich weaving mill, Stotz. The highly breathable fabric is appreciated by outdoor enthusiasts, the military and polar explorers alike. The protective properties of the fabric keep everything dry, so long as the rain is not coming straight down from the sky in sheets. The fabric, which is moderately impregnated with a wax-based material, uses the same protective principle as waterproof parachute silk. It is woven so tightly that the fibres swell on contact with moisture and water droplets simply run off on the surface.
