Armedangels combines skin-friendly, organically grown cotton and TENCEL™ Modal, a regenerative cellulose fiber obtained from naturally growing beech wood and known for its exceptional softness, breathability and flexibility, in this polo shirt. There is also a small amount of elastane for even more elasticity and shape retention. The fabric is rather unusual for a polo shirt: a finely knitted French terry sweat. This is a robust and easy-care sweatshirt fabric that combines the properties of a lightweight single jersey with those of a heavy sweatshirt fabric. It is also known as summer sweat and is ideal for the transitional period or slightly cooler summer days.

Designing fashion differently (and better), conserving resources instead of exploiting them and creating designs that complement the wardrobe in the long term - that was the plan of Martin Höfeler and Anton Jurina, the founders of the Cologne-based label Armedangels. Or to quote CEO Höfeler: "I actually just wanted to prove that it is possible to build a company that is profit-oriented and at the same time promotes good causes." And what began in 2007 with a simple white T-shirt has long since become a successful fair fashion label. Armedangels combines ecological materials, transparent supply chains, durable design and fair working conditions. This fairness is regularly checked by several independent organizations. Armedangels has been awarded the Fair Trade and GOTS seals. The label is also part of the Fair Wear Foundation.
