This scarf - incredibly warm and soft - adds a vibrant accent to your outfit with its striking checked pattern in bright colors. It is hand-woven in India from wool and a small amount of polyamide, which makes the fabric more shape-retaining and durable. The scarf ends are finished with long fringes.

Martine and Jacques Bijvoet are behind the Moismont label, which is based in Picardy, France. With their fashion, the two are committed to authenticity, traditions and values. It is therefore not surprising that France and India come together in their scarves and stoles, blankets and bags: The designs come from Parisian textile designer Adrien Testard, while they are traditionally made in India. After all, the original scarf (which we understand to be worn more like a stole) once found its way from the Indian subcontinent to Europe. And this scarf culture is still very much alive in India today: Yarn dyeing, weaving and printing techniques are passed down from generation to generation there - in three carefully differentiated professions, each of which possesses and guards its own unique know-how.
