This women's short jacket is timelessly beautiful and wonderfully comfortable. Lanius uses a material combination of warming virgin wool from certified organic animal husbandry and skin-friendly, certified organic cotton. The knitted fabric is milled. This mechanical finishing process with water and heat increases the warmth function and gives the knitted fabric more density. At the same time, it makes it water-repellent and yet - this is the difference to milled fabrics - it remains very elastic. The jacket is lined with skin-friendly viscose that is pleasantly smooth against the skin, which makes it even more comfortable to wear and easier to put on and take off. The jacket has a straight, slightly cropped fit. It fastens with distinctive horn buttons. A classic shirt collar and blind flaps at the front with vertical side seam pockets underneath round off the design. In short: a jacket that is a versatile addition to your wardrobe in the transitional season and can be combined with jeans or chinos for a sporty, casual look or with a skirt or dress for a casual, elegant look.

The work of fashion label Lanius is influenced by three factors: first, a style characterised by sophisticated designs and forms, secondly the use of certified raw materials and thirdly the guarantee that all garments have been produced under fair working conditions. Depending on the garment, one factor may get centre stage, but the other factors don’t move out of the focus – however, importance is always attached to outstanding quality both in terms of materials and finish. The label was founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius, who works on all her ideas and designs in her Cologne studio; she has them developed by her team and then assembled by producers in several countries.
