As the hair is hollow on the inside, body heat can be stored at low temperatures, while heat is released to the outside at higher temperatures. Alpaca hair is also smooth, less sensitive to pilling and durable. A small amount of polyamide makes the knitted fabric more durable and retains its shape. The sweater is knitted in airy stitches, giving it a slightly transparent look. It has a generous V-neckline and a loose fit overall. The dropped shoulders end in wide sleeves which, like the hem, are finished with rib-knit cuffs.
