Thanks to the noble material, the accurate workmanship and the restrained color, the tote bag can not only be combined with sporty-casual wardrobe, but it also cuts a fine figure in the office or during a stroll through town and holds A4 documents and smaller purchases.

Made of two large blanks, the tote bag remains unlined - the velour surface inside can therefore initially fluff a bit, but some weight is saved and it allows the leather to lie smoothly against the body when worn. The attached straps, made of the same soft leather, are long enough to wear comfortably over your shoulder, just like a shopper. The open strap edges are neatly dyed and finished with backstitch that adds shape and stability. The tote bag has a small slip pocket inside that holds small items like a wallet, keys or cell phone and closes with a magnetic closure.

The Palatinate-based family business Werner has been working with leather since it was founded in 1911. Werner only uses hides from Alpine cattle from controlled organic farming, which are tanned in German tanneries using vegetable and chrome-free processes. Modern processes such as olive leaf tanning are also used, which involves tanning with a purely vegetable extract from olive leaves. Thanks to the high quality of the raw materials and the vegetable tanning process, the leather retains its natural character and supple feel. The many years of experience with the natural material is also reflected in the designs and processing. From the first cut to the last seam, the leather is meticulously crafted into bags, belts and shoes, sometimes still by hand. The result is shoes that are comfortable to wear and have a tried and tested fit, as well as handbags with practical details that have been carefully designed. For many years, production took place exclusively in Pirmasens, where the company was founded, but today the "quilters" and "Zwicker" work in south-eastern Europe. The raw materials come from Germany and neighboring European countries, which guarantees consistently high quality and keeps transport routes as short as possible.

Please note that the bag is unlined, so the velour on the inside may initially give off fluff or rub off, as with other leathers. The dark colour on the outside may rub off on light coloured clothing.
