Ladies Whale Coat

This coat not only convinces with its straight cut shape and puristic look, but also with the materials used. For the fabric - a pleasantly grippy bouclé - Lanius uses virgin wool from certified organic livestock and certified organically grown cotton. The lining is made of pure viscose, which makes it easy to put on and take off and comfortable to wear. The coat is equipped with stand-up collar and two side pockets set into the seam. It is buttoned concealed - with push buttons made of genuine horn - and can be combined with elegant as well as sporty outfits.

The work of fashion label Lanius is influenced by three factors: first, a style characterised by sophisticated designs and forms, secondly the use of certified raw materials and thirdly the guarantee that all garments have been produced under fair working conditions. Depending on the garment, one factor may get centre stage, but the other factors don’t move out of the focus – however, importance is always attached to outstanding quality both in terms of materials and finish. The label was founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius, who works on all her ideas and designs in her Cologne studio; she has them developed by her team and then assembled by producers in several countries.
