This winter parka reliably protects its wearer from the elements. It starts with the cut: it is unusually long for a parka. The Riri two-way zipper is covered by a wide buttoned placket and the sleeve openings are fitted with close-fitting, wind-repellent knitted cuffs. The detachable hood is padded, as is the entire parka. The warming effect of this padding is further enhanced by the woollen lining. The parka's outer material is the tightly woven, moderately wax-based impregnated and breathable EtaProof®. Drawstrings in the hood, at waist height and at the hem allow the width to be individually adjusted, while the dovetailed back increases comfort. Two buttoned flap pockets at the front, two vertical zipped pockets on the chest and two inside pockets can hold small items for everyday use.

EtaProof® is a breathable cotton fabric from the Zurich weaving mill Stotz, which keeps you dry according to the protective principle of umbrella silk when the rain is not pouring down from the sky in torrents. The moderately wax-based impregnated fabric is so tightly woven that the fibers swell on contact with moisture and water droplets roll off the surface. As a natural fiber, EtaProof® naturally cannot and will not compete with synthetic fabrics. With intensive use, the light natural color of cotton can therefore emerge - this is even desired by many customers, similar to the Used look that jeans develop over time.
