For this sock, Holstein linen and cotton are knitted so that the tear and abrasion resistant pure linen points to the shoe and the soft and skin-friendly cotton points to the foot.

These socks are manufactured in the Münsterland region. As is often the case in textile production, a collection of old machines contributes to their quality. Here, they are 1950s Bentley-Komet circular knitting machines. They are capable of processing materials such as linen and distributing yarns in a differentiated manner throughout the sock’s structure: reinforced in areas subject to the greatest stress, or using two different yarns for the inner and outer sides. The result is socks with a great fit that are hard-wearing and durable.
