All Looops scented candles and diffusers are based on pure natural essential oils. The sensory, physiological and physical complexity of these special plant oils with their valuable ingredients has been known to mankind since time immemorial and is used today more than ever. Depending on the purpose - for mood enhancement, relaxation and harmonization or for grounding and energizing - they can be used alone or combined with each other.

Here we offer the fragrance compositions in their pure, concentrated form. So you can decide for yourself whether you want to use the fragrance oil pure, dripped onto a fragrance stone, or in a blend for the fragrance lamp or diffuser. Just five to ten drops are enough for an intense fragrance.

Naturally pure essential oils are unadulterated, i.e. they contain no synthetic additives, but are carefully extracted exclusively from flowers, herbs, woods, roots and citrus peel. You can recognize this purity in the fragrance: it is authentic, clear and deep. Essential oils release their soothing fragrance gently and evenly, it is clearly perceptible but never overpowering. Depending on your sensitivity and mood, you can easily adjust the intensity using the number of drops.

In the mountains, they say, the mind is free. It was in the mountains, more precisely in the Salzkammergut on the northern edge of the Alps, that Julia Schliefsteiner and Markus Niederfriniger came up with the idea of their own fragrancekerzen-Manufaktur to capture and preserve the scents of nature and take them home with them. The fire was lit: they founded Looops Kerzenmanuaktur, and the deeper they delved into the world of fragrances and aromas, the more they realized how far-reaching their effects could be and that the findings of aromatherapy could be wonderfully combined with their new craft. So Julia Schliefsteiner went straight on to complete her aromatherapy training and is now very familiar with the gentle extraction of essential oils and their effects.

True to their principle "Nature is good the way it is", they add neither artificial nor synthetic substances and use vegetable wax obtained from rapidly renewable plants (soy and rapeseed) - which also has the advantage that these plant-based candles burn longer and produce less soot than mineral oil-based ones. The wicks are made of pure cotton or even wood. Julia Schliefsteiner creates all the fragrances herself in the company's own "kitchen" near Salzburg. The scented candles are also made by hand there - a complex process involving many steps. It begins with the extraction of the valuable, fragrant and highly effective oils from herbs, flowers and fruits. For new creations, the mixtures of essential oils are first left to rest for a while so that the various fragrance components can blend into a single unit. Only then are small test candles poured and the fragrances tested over several days. The creations are usually inspired by the landscape of the Salzkammergut, the herbs on the mountain pasture or the forest shortly after the rain. After all, a hike through the mountains and nature not only clears the mind, but also fills it with new ideas.
