Looops refill scented candle

Mountain air: forest-fresh scent of Swiss stone pine needles, juniper branches and lemon peel, reminiscent of a hike in the mountains. Aromatherapy effect: helps to clear the head, strengthen and balance.

Looops has developed the scented candles in this format with paper cup especially for refilling the jars with wooden lids. This means you can use the jars for a long time. As the wax is purely vegetable, it can be easily washed off the jars with hot water and a little washing-up liquid. Please note that the candles must not be lit in the paper cup, as it is not fireproof and is not safe to use. The four scents available are mountain air, leisure time, homecoming and evening gold.

In the mountains, they say, the mind is so free. In the mountains, more precisely in the Salzkammergut region on the northern edge of the Alps, Julia Schliefsteiner and Markus Niederfriniger also had the idea for their own fragrancekerzen-Manufaktur, in order to capture the scents of nature, preserve them and take them home with them. The fire was lit: they founded Looops Kerzenmanuaktur, and the deeper they delved into the world of scents and aromas, the more the realization grew of how far-reaching their effects can be and that the findings of aromatherapy can be wonderfully combined with their new craft. So Julia Schliefsteiner directly followed the aromatherapy training and is now very familiar with the gentle extraction of essential oils and their effects.

True to their principle "Nature is good the way it is", they add neither artificial nor synthetic substances and use natural wax obtained from rapidly renewable plants (soy and rapeseed) - which has the side benefit that these plant-based candles burn longer and soot less than mineral oil-based ones. The wicks are made of pure cotton or even wood. All fragrances are created in the company's own "kitchen" near Salzburg, where the scented candles are made by hand - a complex process with many steps. It begins with the extraction of the valuable, fragrance-giving and highly effective oils from herbs, flowers and fruits. In the case of new creations, the mixtures of essential oils first rest for a while so that the various fragrance components blend into a single unit. Only then are small test candles poured and the scents tested over several days. The creations are usually inspired by the landscape of the Salzkammergut, the herbs on the alpine pastures or the forest shortly after the rain. Because a hike through the mountains and nature not only clears the mind, but also fills it with new ideas.
