A beautiful, solid piece of furniture that will hold the seat cushions of your garden furniture in its spacious interior throughout the summer. Or sandbox toys, badminton rackets, handcart and the red slide car, clothespins and carpet beaters, gardening tools, tools - and maybe charcoal and barbecue accessories.SpecialCharacterLineBreak_hard Front and sides of the chest are made of untreated oak wood, bottom and back wall are made of moisture-resistant screen printing plate. The lid is of frame construction and covered with an overlay of zinc sheet; two gas pressure dampers hold it up when open and ensure smooth closing due to their decelerating effect. It is so sturdy that the chest can easily be used as a seat as well. The open slats on the sides ensure good ventilation of the chest interior - but they also mean that the furniture is not waterproof. Please note this when setting up the chest or also when selecting the stored goods.

Oak wood contains tannic acid and can secrete tannin particles at high temperatures, which can lead to discoloration.

This patio furniture is made for us in a Lüneburg furniture workshop from the weather-resistant wood of oak in stud construction and solid design: The longitudinal frames are secured by means of metric screw connections with cross threaded bolts and the cross frames are glued waterproof. The shelves are covered with solid zinc sheet - that lasts; in France, for example, zinc sheet has a long tradition as a work surface on kitchen tables. The feet are fitted with plastic glides that keep wetness out from underneath and protect patio tiles.
