Massage belt flax

A massage belt woven from flax and cotton, which has a massaging effect and a slight exfoliating effect thanks to the highly textured surface and the high flax content of over 50 percent. The cotton makes the fabric flexible and adapts well to the body, while the hand loops make it possible to work vigorously on the back.

The manufacturer, a family-owned company since 1862, once had a utility model protection for massage gloves. They were the first textile massage products made from untreated and natural fabrics. They are still produced free of bleaching agents and dyes. The production facility in Troisdorf is now frequently visited by visitors and school classes who want to familiarize themselves with the basics of weaving and the beginnings of the industrial revolution in Germany. Because of the yarn thicknesses, riffi still produces on looms that work according to a traditional principle: namely with punched cards and shuttle looms. This allows you to see the fabric being created with the naked eye. A higher speed would destroy the looms due to the firm and strong material (flax and sisal). The high-quality massage utensils made of cotton, flax or sisal produced in this way are superior to conventional wooden brushes as they hug the body and are more hygienic; they can be cleaned in the washing machine.
