In the leather, buckling, stretching, abrasion and similar stresses quickly form visible signs of wear, resulting in a beautiful patina. This effect is intentional. Based on this experience, he designs his garments. For example, Hack exclusively processes leather with natural surfaces from Germany, Italy and Scandinavia into hard-wearing, functional clothing and genuine accessories. This is why the selected skins from cow, horse and deer document traces of animal life such as insect bites or thorny cracks. Such a leather gains its much-desired patina by movement and frequent wearing and proves a magnificent example of what happens when a leather garment is allowed to age with honour.
